Pastor Martin is an ordained Minister in the Church of God and has been in Pastoral ministry for over 12 years. Pastor Martin hails from the Island of Jamaica. He is the third of six children. Having surrender his life to the Lord, he spent his formative years in the church engaged in several ministry to find his purpose. A purpose which was realized in his early twenties after running away from the Call to ministry. Two of his brothers also serve as pastor within the Jamaica context.

As a purpose-driven individual, he is passionate about Youth Ministry, Christian Education, Camp Ministries, mentorship and Leadership development. While in Jamaica, he worked with the JNbank formerly JNBS in several capacities but primarily around Information Technology where he Supervised the Service Desk. He did this while pastoring two congregations the Juan-de-Bolas and Point HIll New testament church of God.

In addition, he has also served as a counsellor for at-risk youths, Multimedia Ministry Director, national church website manager, national youth ministry volunteer, National camp Ministry board member, chairperson for the new harbour village1, Phase 2 community, Chaplin for the Old harbour bay football club, a member of several school boards and Ministers Fraternal.

Pastor Martin migrated to Canada in 2014 where he served as Youth Pastor at West Toronto Church of God and District Youth Pastor for the West Toronto District of Churches.  Have a love for community engagement he served as Director for Somali Parent Liason Coalition (SPLC), Parent Chair for Valleyfield Junior School.  With the move to Calgary in 2017,  Pastor Martin has taken up the responsibility of planting the Living Fatih Community Church of God in the Upper North East and also serve on his community association board.

A recent graduate of Trinity Western University with a MA in Leadership, a BA in Theology with Counselling from Bethel Bible College of the Caribbean, and several certificates in Information Technology.

Pst. Martin has dedicated his life to the building up of the Kingdom of God through the faithful proclamation of the word. He has an unwavering passion for God and a strong desire to see souls born and lives changed for the Kingdom.

Rev. Martin shares his life with his beautiful bride of fourteen (14) years, Nicola Martin and the union has produced two boys. Elijah-Juan and Eliam-Josiah
